SCART notes: The app contains the spectroscopic data of over 100 molecules. For each question you are given the carbon NMR, hydrogen NMR, infrared and mass spectroscopy as well as the elemental percentage mass breakdown. With this data you have to work out the molecule that is being represented. On the main page of the app you can alter the quiz by setting a time limit or number of questions asked. The difficulty of the questions asked can also be changed between easy, medium and hard with easy giving you multiple choice answers whereas with medium and hard you have to type in your answers. The molecules are classified into compound groups so you can practise specific types of molecules or a mixture of them all.

SCART recommendations: This app would be really useful for undergraduate students who are learning/practising how to identify molecules from spectroscopic data.

The scope of content included on each element is detailed and laid out in a modern and aesthetically pleasing app. The app however has some flaws which make it more difficult to use than other periodic table apps such as 'Periodic' (which has been reviewed already - go check it out!) where the app can be used in landscape...

With its simplistic yet effective layout and its speedy boot up and performance speeds it is far from a nuisance to mess about with. Although it thrives in these aspects of the app, it falls short in the scope and depth of content involved. The levels do get harder from the start and the app does introduce more complex organic molecules however we feel there is a point in this app where the difficulty d...
